THE FESTIVAL FRANCO-ONTARIEN IS FOR TWEENS AND TEENS TOO!

Friday, June 16, 2023 | 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
THREE SHOWS ON THE PROGRAM :
JESSY LINDSAY, IMPROTÉINE AND MOOV OTTAWA

Improtéine
Improtéine is an improvisation group. For nearly 20 years, its members have been touring Canada with their interactive theatrical, musical and humorous improv shows. They have given 1,000 performances to over 350,000 spectators from coast to coast! Improtéine is a huge success wherever it goes.

Improvised 100% of the time, their shows come to life thanks to a game master who interacts with the crowd to guide improvisers and a musician towards hilarious stories that are completely unique and spontaneous. Sketches, songs, ridiculous situations – everything is invented on the spot, before your very eyes! Laughter and delirium guaranteed!

Moov Ottawa

Jessy Lindsay

Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter Jessy Lindsay explores jazz-tinged indie-pop with a liberating musical edge. With her authentic lyrics and catchy melodies, she shares her experiences with us. Jessy has taken part in initiatives such as Quand Ça Nous Chante, the Jeux de la francophonie canadienne, Jamais Trop Tôt, Rond Point, Camp en chanson de Petite-Vallée and now, the Festival Franco-Ontarien. Her new EP “J’explose” focuses on the perspective of a young woman in today’s society, exploring themes such as self-confidence, vocalizing opinions and reclaiming oneself. This mini-album is a musical explosion not to be missed!

Bring your own lunch, but street trucks will also be available on site.
