What is an RFID bracelet, and why are we using it this year?
An RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) bracelet is a wristband equipped with an electronic chip that contains your festival access information. By wearing it, you can quickly and easily access the festival without needing to show a ticket or QR code.
Why use it?
- Faster and more convenient: A simple scan of the bracelet allows for quick entry.
- More secure: It cannot be lost or copied, unlike a paper or electronic ticket.
- More fun: Featuring FFO colors, it adds a modern and interactive touch to the event, and you can keep it as a souvenir after the festival.
You’ll receive your RFID bracelet by mail 2 to 3 weeks before the festival. Make sure to wear it on your wrist upon arrival!
General Rules for Bracelets
- DO NOT modify, stretch, cut, or alter your bracelet in any way.
- Altered bracelets will be invalid, and the wearer may be expelled.
- Passport bracelets cannot be shared (i.e., they cannot be used by different people on different days).
- Each person must wear a bracelet for the entire duration of the festival. No one will be allowed entry without a bracelet. This policy will be strictly enforced—trespassers will be expelled and/or prosecuted.
- Replacement bracelets will be available on-site at the ticket office. Note that a fee will apply for replacements.
When Will I Receive My Passes?
Be patient! All bracelets purchased before the deadline will be mailed 2 to 3 weeks before the festival. If, for any reason, your purchase hasn’t been delivered by the festival date, you can pick up your order at one of the on-site ticket offices. Please bring a photo ID and your order confirmation email.
I Didn’t Receive My Passes by Mail—Where Can I Pick Them Up?
If your purchase hasn’t been delivered before the festival, you can collect it at one of the on-site ticket offices. Please bring a photo ID and your order confirmation email.
I Entered the Wrong Address When Purchasing—How Can I Update It?
You must contact LePointDeVente directly to update the address and personal information linked to your order at info@lepointdevente.com. Note that updates must be made before the shipping deadline to ensure your passes are sent to the new address. If the deadline has passed, you can collect your order at one of the on-site ticket offices. Please bring a photo ID and your order confirmation email.
Third-Party Sales
DO NOT purchase passes from third-party sellers—only buy through the official Festival Franco-Ontarien ticketing website. Counterfeit bracelets will not be accepted, and the FFO is not responsible for the promotion or sale of counterfeit items.
I Have a Complimentary Ticket—What Should I Do?
If you have a complimentary ticket, your bracelets WILL NOT be mailed. You can pick up your bracelets at the designated area at the festival entrance with a photo ID and your confirmation email.
Can I Buy Tickets for Someone Else?
Yes, you can buy a ticket for someone else. However, orders cannot be split. If you purchase for multiple people in one order, you’ll need to wait to receive the bracelets to give them their tickets.
What Is the Refund Policy?
All ticket purchases for the Festival Franco-Ontarien are final: no refunds or exchanges. The festival will take place rain or shine.
Can Someone Else Pick Up My Passes at the Ticket Office?
The name on the order must match the identity of the person collecting the passes.
Damaged Bracelets
We recommend not putting your bracelet on until you arrive at the festival (tip: don’t tighten your bracelet too much!). If your bracelet is too tight or damaged, replacement bracelets will be available on-site at the ticket office. Please bring a photo ID matching the name on the order. Note that a fee will apply for replacement.
Can I Transfer My Passport to Someone Else for a Single Night?
No, passports are non-transferable. Once you’ve received and put on your RFID bracelet, it cannot be removed or shared. The bracelet is designed to be worn continuously throughout the festival and is strictly personal. We still recommend not putting your bracelet on until you arrive at the festival.
