Originally from Kinshasa and based in Ottawa since 2004, Kimya is a multidisciplinary artist whose passion for words first emerged through slam and rap. His deeply conscious style stands out through committed lyrics that explore social realities, inner struggles, and collective aspirations. Kimya is more than a rapper, he is a voice that awakens and brings people together.
