Kaiday is a bilingual singer-songwriter from Ottawa. Her songs weave together a harmonious blend of folk, R&B, and pop. She draws inspiration from a range of artists including Charlotte Cardin, Emma Peters, and Faye Webster. Through her music, she shares her stories with authenticity and vulnerability, while bridging her Franco-Ontarian roots and English-speaking environment.
Kaiday is constantly seeking new audiences and stages on which to share her music, notably performing at the Festival Franco-Ontarien (with DJ UNPIER), the Tremplin de Dégelis (2022), the Festival International de la Chanson de Granby (2023), and as part of the Developing Artist program at Folk Music Ontario (2025).
Her EP, So What If I Am (recorded with the support of a grant from the City of Ottawa), will be released in fall 2026. This debut EP tells the story of her journey as a multifaceted young queer artist.
