Since 2007, Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter Melissa Ouimet has been lighting up stages across Quebec and Francophone Canada.

In 2016, she released her self-titled debut album under Musicor, and in 2018, she independently launched her EP Amours jetables, which won the Trille Or award for Song of the Year.

A proud voice for Francophone communities outside Quebec, Melissa released a new version of her song Personne ne pourra m’arrêter, which quickly became an anthem of Franco-Ontarian resistance.

A finalist on La Voix in 2019, she continued to strengthen her bond with fans by launching live sessions on Facebook during the pandemic—earning her the 2021 Trille Or for Online Performance of the Year.

Her holiday single Noël dans la tête climbed to the top of radio charts, with a music video featured on both TVA and YouTube.

In 2022, she released the EP Sans tomber, accompanied by a short film on TFO. The title track was featured on TVA’s popular TV series Chicago Fire.

In 2023, her song Quand revient Noël reached #2 on the radio charts. That same year, she received six Trille Or nominations, solidifying her status as a powerful and committed artist.

Melissa Ouimet is currently working on a brand-new album, slated for release in fall 2025.
